A lot of friends who wear glasses have to take them off to rest their eyes in order to continue tu use their pc. This forces them to get closer to the screen than normal to be able to read.

I second Draculazla. By looking at those screenshots, i wondered if it was possible to cut those black borders around the text box (or at least reduce the border size to 10-15 pixels).

Good job !!

Re: Bionic Eagles! - Instant Kingdom

Could be, I'll see how it looks.

Re: Bionic Eagles! - Instant Kingdom

Hoe about some script that removes blank black part of text. It would allow 1.5 - 2x bigger text than on lower screen.

Re: Bionic Eagles! - Instant Kingdom

Currently the only limiting factor is that the text will start to go overboard if you make it too big. The best way to make it huge is to buy a huge monitor, and use a huge resolution - it'll really make the text stand out.

Re: Bionic Eagles! - Instant Kingdom

Personally, I'd like the dialogue text to be even bigger than your current maximum size.
Not that my eyesight is that bad, but I like my reading experience to be as comfortable as possible.

Re: Bionic Eagles! - Instant Kingdom

I vastly prefer the first option; but I'm the guy who sets his Kindle font to the tiniest possible setting, and then has everyone else complain if they try to touch said Kindle.

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

No need to restart, just fixing some bugs in code. Got to make sure it runs smoothly and doesn't crash. Which reminds me, if the game ever crashes for you, I'd be extra grateful to know that.

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Will my saves from version 0.82 work fine on 0.83, or should I restart?

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Just noticed an incredible thing. I mistyped my mipmapping code, so that it resulted in off by one pixel error in mipmapping. So I posted a small update that might fix the game if it's crashing for you in the well. And miraculously it will also make all items and small objects much sharper and better looking! :)

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Wow I've just played two minutes and I'm already amazed at how good it is.

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Wooho

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Will do.

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

It's actually the exact same package as all preorderers already have - the demo limitation is just removed when the license key is entered. So no, you don't have to redownload, but now is a great time to tell your friends to try the demo. :)

Re: Driftmoon Demo Released! - Instant Kingdom

Will one have to re-download the game to play the demo?

Re: Wazzal Trainer - Instant Kingdom

Yeah, when I really want to cheat for some reason, and can't do it by editing a save file, my preferred method is a memory scanner, so I can cheat with any value the game stores unmodified in memory. I'm a hands-on person like that.

Re: Wazzal Trainer - Instant Kingdom

@Ville - I'm glad to see you had a positive response to the cheat trainer, I was hesitant on posting it as many game developers seem to be against them.

Personally I think trainers can add to single player games in many ways - helping stuck players, adding more replay value, and allowing players the ability to discover new things in a game they couldn't before (due to a lack of health, time, or another item).

Thanks for the post/link to my trainer, it was a surprise and is appreciated. The trainer is hosted at several cheat sites so hopefully you will get many new game players to your site, and more orders for Driftmoon. :)

@Anne - Thank you for the comments. Indeed Wazzal is a great game, I've spent many hours playing it. I just wish I would have discovered the spacebar button sooner in the game as I couldn't remember many of the places I had to travel to.

@MageKing17 - Hands-on work does add to the experience; however, for those who can not/do not want to bother nothing beats clicking a button. :)

Re: Wazzal Trainer - Instant Kingdom

Modifying save files is more fun. :P

Re: Wazzal Trainer - Instant Kingdom

This looks impressive! Way to go t2Eservo! :) For those who may not know this: Wazzal is one of Ville's older games. It is a pretty nice adventure, it's freely available through our games-page, and I'd say it deserves some more playing time than it's gotten so far.

So if you've got time to spare, have a go! And if you try
t2Eservo's trainer, I suspect he'd be happy to get some feedback on it! ;)

Re: Driftmoon Mods - Instant Kingdom

Yay, it's fixed now!

Re: We're working - Instant Kingdom

GameBanshee just linked to the Last Review on RPGWatch.
